The Green Beak is a hub for delving into the wondrous, sometimes peculiar and often harsh world of south Florida's bird life. Run by an ornithologist, it strives to provide the non-biologist with greater insight into the secret lives of some of Florida's most charismatic species, with emphasis on what they are doing and why. It focuses primarily on the current trials and tribulations of nesting birds, especially those in the Everglades, but it also discusses recent scientific findings, conservation news, and general observations about Florida's birds.
